God, the God of the Bible, is not hiding.

You must look for Him.
Seek Him out.
Search for Him.
He will be found.

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV‬

God is not hiding.
God is waiting on us.
We must choose to find Him, call on Him.

‭”Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV‬

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV‬

Just seek God.

Who is Wise?

Today’ Manna in the Word:
Who is Wise?

Who is wise? Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent? Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them.
-Hosea 14:9 NKJV‬

Stop.
Take a moment and reflect.

The God of the Bible is right, is correct, has nothing but good intended for us.

The God of the Bible has no yoke of bondage to enslave us to His ways.

The ways of the God of the Bible bring life and freedom; not harm nor destruction.

Religion, acts of conformity and stricture, do not lead to liberty,peace, nor freedom.

God’s ways do.

Jesus said,
‭“I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
-John 14:6 NKJV‬

Jesus leads the way to the Father.
The way is through the Cross and our repentance.
And our receiving forgiveness for sin.
Then, we begin a new life with the God of the Bible, the God of Creation.

Then, we are wise.

Kingdom Culture • 1st Friday

1st Fridays at RiversEdge Church is to develop in us the culture of the Kingdom of God.

hand.”

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he
answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall
they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

What is the Kingdom?
•A territory or area ruled by a king

What is a King?
•One who rules; sovereign head or monarch; no higher authority

What is Culture?
•Working the earth to produce a harvest; the application of labor to produce a harvest
•The application of accepted acts to produce desired results in a society

Matthew 6.33a KJV
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; …”

•John the Baptist prophesied that the Kingdom of God was at hand.
•Jesus prophesied and taught that the Kingdom of God was at hand.
•Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is within you.

Cultivate the Kingdom of God

Galatians 5.16-26 -Walk in the Spirit, fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 6.7-8 KJV
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the
Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

*Sow, … therefore cultivate …, therefore produce a harvest of whatever was sown.

•His Kingdom, His Culture, His Rule
•His Farm, His Seed, His Harvest, His Life

All in the Father’s House is yours. -Luke 15.31

Jesus said, “I go to make a place for you.” -John 14.2-3

This is our culture: God is King, His will grows in us.

Your theology does not matter

It does not matter what your theology is…
What the #GodoftheBible has called #sin … those acts that would separate you from Him … those are still sin, they still keep you separated from Him.
…
If your theology says there is no God of the Bible and there are no gods nor a God of the Bible…. it is a fool who says there is no God of the Bible.
…
If your theology says you are god or you serve a god of any other name or there are many gods or higher powers to serve … you are going to discover why the God of the Bible said to put no other gods before Him.
…
If your theology says there are many paths to god or the god-state … you will discover truly that there has ever only been one way to God … Jesus and the Cross, the Grave, and the Resurrection.
…
If your theology says your truth is your truth and others can have their own truth … you will discover Jesus of the Bible was correct in saying only He was and is the Way, the Truth, and the Life … no one can come to the Father any other way.
…
It is so.
