The world really does not know what a Christian should be like, and history is full of unkind examples. Our Christian example is all those around us will ever see. Many know about Jesus; mostly from Christmas and Easter but not much more than that. To most of the people in the world, Jesus and the God of the Bible are just figures from another religion.

You know, some thoughts just hit me and I gotta weigh the thoughts before saying anything. But in all these things I am more concerned for the Christian example than I am for any other’s conduct.

I was asked on what would I speak regarding fathers on Fathers’ Day. At first, I honestly did not know. There has been so much said about fathers and fatherhood. What could I add to that? Then I thought, what does the Bible have to say about fathers. I got as far as Genesis 2.

In this life you will have problems. It is as if someone intentionally set up this whole thing so we are forced out of our comfort zones and are required to confront problems or be dominated by them. Maybe that is the case. Maybe we are here to solve problems; or at least learn how to solve problems.
