[Note: not mine but worth rebroadcasting here]

EVERY CITIZEN NEEDS TO READ THIS AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THIS
JOURNALIST HAS SCRIPTED IN THIS MESSAGE.  READ IT  AND THEN
REALLY THINK ABOUT OUR CURRENT POLITICAL DEBACLE.
Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years.

By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don’t propose a federal budget.  The president does.
You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of representatives does.
You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices  545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress.   In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority.  They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing.  I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault..   They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall.   No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.   The president can only propose a budget.   He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.   Who is the speaker of the House?   Nancy Pelosi.  She is the leader of the majority party.  She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility.   I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.  When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exi sts is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red .
If the Army & Marines are in  IRAQ , it’s because they want them in IRAQ
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it’s because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.   Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Everyone who has been ‘churched’ seems to know Luke 6.38 … give and it will be given unto you … but have you looked at it closely?

– Luke 6.27-38 NKJV

27“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28“bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29“To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30“Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31“And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. 32“But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33“And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34“And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35“But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36“Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

37“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

– For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Q: What are you giving? Love, peace, generosity, forgiveness, mercy… judgment…

In the same manner, in the same measure that you give, it WILL be given back to you … pressed down, shaken together, overflowing…

Q: What are you giving? Trust? Are you giving your trust to God?

In Mark 12 we read about the widow and her two mites …

– Mark 12.41-44

41And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.  42And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.  43And he called to him his disciples, and said to them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow has cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

The widow gave more than the rich. She gave all she had. She gave her ‘trust’ that God would take care of her, so she gave all to bless God and what God was doing. She knew God would take care of her. She gave her ‘faith’ that God would take care of her.

When you give, watch what it is you are giving. If you give out of compulsion, if you give out of religious need, if you give out of putting on a show … you will get what you give … pressed down and shaken together will it be given back to you.

But … if you give to bless God, in partnership with God … you give out of your trust, your hope, your confidence … your faith … then God who sees from heaven will bless you … windows will open. It just may come to you, and come to you, and come to you, pressed down and shaken together and overflowing coming to you.

Partner with God. Pray and ask … or just do that which God has already put in your heart to do. Bless God and His work. He will go out of His way to bless you. Amen.
