A short word on the Prophetic:

There are many people out there claiming to be prophetic, being prophetic, or just making stuff up. There is a difference in Christian biblical prophecy.
The word “prophecy” means to foretell. It comes from the Greek language. The word “prophet”, therefore, means “foreteller” or “oracle” or “fortuneteller”.
The Judeo-Christian version of the word “prophet” means “one who speaks for God.” And, God, according to the Bible, is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, is the One who made us in His image and likeness, and gave us salvation through Jesus and the Cross. And there is the difference. A prophet of the God of the Bible does not read tea leaves nor communes with spirits or deities to give auguries and fortune telling.
The prophet of the God of the Judeo-Christian Bible has an ongoing conversation with the Creator of the Universe and shares what God says to share, when He says to share it, and to whom He says to share it. Read your Bible to verify this.
Now there are types of operating in prophetic gifts.
The Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians, 1st Corinthians chapter 12, that there were certain gifts given to the Church by the Holy Spirit of God: word of wisdom, word of knowledge, word of prophecy, word of discernment of spirits, interpretation of tongues [glossa, speaking in another tongue by gift of the Holy Spirit]. These are for the Church to use and operate in using. These differ from the office of a prophet.
Now, the God of the Bible has called some out to be His mouthpiece or spokesman – both males and females have been chosen. Search out the Bible for yourself to validate. This kind of prophet speaks to the local church or to a city or to a region or to a nation or to the nations. This kind of prophet values more their relationship with the God of Creation. There are also those who desire the office and the notoriety more than they desire their relationship with God. Biblically, it never goes well for them. Desire a relationship with God first; be humble enough to guard that and timid enough to speak when God says speak. Do not seek your own.
To clarify:
There are those God gives Holy Spirit gifted knowledge, understanding, and prophetic words. This is to be done orderly and rightly and to build up the Church; never the speaker, the one delivering the message. And there are those God lets speak on His behalf. God will call that person up to speak to the people that need to hear the word. Moving prophetically by Holy Spirit does not mean you are a prophet. It means you humbled yourself enough to let God use you to build up or confirm to someone in the local Church what God wanted to say.
Side note: word of knowledge, word of prophecy, discernment of spirits are not a license to gossip. If the God of Creation shows you something about someone else, it is for prayer and intercession. Not to share in gossip – which tears down and does not build up.
The biblical prophet hears God and speaks to those who need to hear the Word God wants delivered. The God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jesus, will hold them accountable for what they say. Do not prophecy unless God says so; and only to those He said to say His words. Amen?

For 2021 – What does the God of the Bible say for 2021?
This is the year of apostolic declaration, says the Lord God. I will declare it through My prophets and establish it through My apostles. They will decree My Word, and it shall be established. They shall declare a thing and it shall come to pass. They shall prophesy as I declared, and I will ensure it comes to pass. They will pull on the things of the Spirit and it shall manifest in the natural, manifest in the flesh.
*Warning: Be sure to know the voice of the Lord for yourself and hear Him.
• There are coming “apostolic prophets”; men and women called up by God and sent forth with His Words and judgment. What they say I will back up, because their words come from Me and My Word stands.
- Their commissioning and authority comes directly from God; not a diocese nor a denomination.
- “I will hold them accountable for what they say,” says the Lord.
• 1 Samuel 12.16 “Now therefore stand still and see this great thing that the Lord will do before your eyes.”
1Sa 12:12 And when you saw that Nahash the king of the Ammonites came against you, you said to me, ‘No, but a king shall reign over us,’ when the LORD your God was your king. [You chose a leader over you instead of Me.]
1Sa 12:13 And now behold the king [the leader] whom you have chosen, for whom you have asked; behold, the LORD has set a king over you. [Honored your request.]
1Sa 12:14 If you will fear the LORD and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God, it will be well. [If you and your leader choose the Lord, it will be well for you.]
1Sa 12:15 But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you and your king. [If you do not, it will not go well.]
1Sa 12:16 Now therefore stand still and see this great thing that the LORD will do before your eyes.
[Watch what the Lord God of the Bible and Israel does.]
• Isaiah 43.19 “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? …” More new things
[You would not believe it even it was told to you.]
• This will be a year of decision and consequence, a year of judgment enacted.
• I will gather, will draw, My Church closer to Me; My Ekklesia, My Assembly.
• Time is coming soon where I will cut off all others. I will no longer hear them. They will be left to their own devices. My coming shall be a shock and a wonder to them. Having been told, they did not perceive it nor did they listen. I will not forgive their sin nor heal their lands. It will be whatever it will be. They will manage their Earth without Me. Nothing will satisfy them. They will hunger and thirst with no satisfaction. I will take My hand off of them. Those whose hearts are Mine, I will succor, soothe, and comfort. Those whose hearts are not Mine, they will have no part of Me, nor My blessings. They will try vainly. I will not hear them in their distresses. The End comes upon them and they did not perceive it, nor their times, nor seasons. My judgments are final. There is no other Salvation for them. They have rejected Me, so I have rejected them. Their calamities shall come on them suddenly; while they are eating, drinking, making plans, the end.
• While there is still time, tell them that I love them as a jealous Father whose Children have run after vain deceits. Amen. Salvation is still possible at the foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ. Set down your life; pick up his life of perfect relationship with the Father and live. Choose life.
