Subject to Change
…
Life shows us nothing remains the same.
Everything around us changes.
Everything we see is subject to change.
However, the God of the Bible does not change
(Malachi 3.6)
The things of this life we go through are subject to change.
Do not look at the things which are seen,
But look at the things which are not seen.
For the things which are seen are temporary,
but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18
Those things God has shown us are eternal,
Ever lasting.
Our faith (hope, confidence, trust) shows us those things we have been told by God are so, they will come to pass, even though right now unseen.
This is our faith: what God has said is so.
Those things and situations currently in our lives…
are subject to change.
What God has promised is eternal.
Amen?
