While looking at other things, for other things, on my computer, I discovered that I have posted anything here since October 2018. My last post then was me noting I have been with Word Press for ten years.

What this tells me is that I have been way too busy with other things to post here. Willickers.

In the interim, I have published three books. One on photography. Two that are fiction e-books available through Amazon Kindle. Oh, by the way, you can find my other books and e-books on Amazon by searching for “Dave Doc Rogers”. That is me. I have set up an author’s page and linked what I have published thus far there.

Cheers! Stay warm and have a great day!

Doc.

When my father took up his spear and knife to scare away the big cat, or to fight it, he looked into its eyes and saw that it was alone and waited for me. When I was born, my father named me Uheeso-dee-tluhda-tsee and told me the story. He would tell me the story many times before brother bear and he struggled. Then my father went to join his fathers beyond.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved; you and your household. [Acts 16.31]

In this passage we hear Paul’s response to the Philippian jailer. To fill in the story, Paul and Silas went to Philippi, preached the gospel, caused a riot, were whipped, and thrown into jail. Around midnight praising God, an earthquake happened and the doors to the jail cells opened. The jailer thought everyone left. He started to kill himself when Paul stopped him. The jailer takes Paul and Silas home, tends to their wounds, and then has church.

And suddenly… you should find how many times that was said in the Bible. When it is finally time in God’s plans “and suddenly” it happens – all those things He has been saying all along.
