The evidence of things unseen.

The hardest part about faith is not seeing. It is a concept that by trusting the words that are spoken by God, who is Elohim (All Mighty), are so sure and true that they take on the same tangible, sensible aspects of hard, physical evidence. To out limited minds and spiritual awareness, anything that is not seen and touchable is difficult to believe. The state of Missouri gained reputation of being the “Show Me” state, because so many of the inhabitants would not believe something unless they saw it. Jesus was quoted in Matthew 12:39 as saying, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, …”

A sign: hard, physical evidence

Jesus had come to be one of us, perfect in relationship with God, the Father. Jesus lived his life as example that Man could walk with God in perfect unity. Then, he traded that life to fulfill covenant promises made so that we can have that same life of unity with God, the Father. Because of what Jesus did, we can be one with the Father; if we accept it and walk in it. Many, too many, are passionate in their belief that what they are doing is right; even when it is wrong. Jesus prayed, while on the cross being mocked and ridiculed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”[1]

It was as if the world had gone crazy. Young men, the best and brightest, those full of hope, were thrown into a churning machine where many perished as soon as they arrived. Millions of Europe’s best hopes expired in the trenches of the battlefield. It was war at its worst. It was dubbed the “war to end all wars”. It ended out of exhaustion on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.

Almighty God, I acknowledge my dependence upon You; I pray Your blessings upon me, my family, my leaders, my city, my state, and my nation.

The Church and the World struggle with the message of Jesus Christ because it is too challenging yet too simple. When Jesus paid for all of it – whatever was or is in the way of you becoming one with the God of the Bible – it became too simple. Before Jesus did what he did there were all of these requirements to righteousness: meaning to be in right standing with the God of the Bible. After Jesus did what he did the complicated challenge became “what’s in my heart, why do I do what I do, how does that honor the God of the Bible”?

“GOD is GOD and Jesus Christ is Lord”

We should, at all times, pray.
o Luke 18.1; 1 Thess. 5.16-18

Intercession:
* Take up for yourself their case
* Take their place in prayer
* Advocate for them

Isaiah 46.9-10 NIV
“Remember the former things, those of long ago; I AM GOD, and there is no other: I AM GOD, and there is none like ME. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.”

Seek first the kingdom of God. That is what Jesus said. But, what does that mean. In our modern times, we do not necessarily understand what that means. Literally, kingdom means the dominion or judgment of the king. Jesus said we are to go seek God’s kingdom. We were to go to His presence and get His dominion, His judgment, His doom. Scary? No. Read His book. He wants to bless you. Us.

And suddenly… you should find how many times that was said in the Bible. When it is finally time in God’s plans “and suddenly” it happens – all those things He has been saying all along.

An article was written stating christians demand a king in a political candidate. No we don’t.

Christans do not demand a king. Christians should demand someone who loves their country and its people more than power and theirself.

The problem is too many are willing to be led by marketing, news media, and personality rather than sound wisdom, self-education, and sound decision-making.

Abdication of self-governing responsibility leads to dictatorship by others. In the USA, our government is based on the premise that the adults are required govern or manage their own affairs. That responsibility is not given to others.

Everywhere else on Earth, the responsibility of governance is to the state – whether dictator, monarch, or elite assembly.

I count it an extreme privilege to have been born in the time I am and in the country I am where my dependence is not on the favor of a state system but on self determination and individual sovereignty.

I am not dependent on a political savior. I am not so much anti-Obama as anti-bad governmental management.

Our founding leaders understood the US government was based on managing the connectivity of all citizens and not determing how those not of the patron class were to live.

The USA does not need a king, despot, nor ruling assembly. The USA needs only those who are willing to serve their fellow countrymen and the benefit of their nation.

No kings needed here. No kings need apply.

I recently came across two people who invited me to their bible study. We had a short discussion on who we are, what denomination, and what we believe. I came from the conversation praying for them. Theirs was a faith built on doctrine, being able to defend their faith. Their conversation implied defense as an attorney would argue their case points and with a preponderance of evidence to win their argument. I thought to myself, they know of Christianity but they have no relationship with God. How challenging it must be for them? The rigidity of religious law, the interpretation of religious text, and the constant fear of not being equal to the calling. Wow.
