The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. May He put His name upon you and bless you. May the Lord make all grace abound toward you; that you, always have all sufficiency in all things and may abound to every good work.

Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you could ask or think according to the power that is in Him, at work in us, supply all your need according to His riches in Glory by and through Christ Jesus.

Amen.

[Numbers 6.24-26; 2 Corinthians 9.8; Ephesians 3.20-21; Philippians 4.19]

It seems popular in current times to denigrate, defame, and ridicule Christianity. It is not all that nouvelle to do. It is just the current rendition of a practice nearing 2000 years old: mock Jesus. C’mon. It is not like it isn’t easy. It is not like there will be immediate retribution. The current US Congress, White House, and Washington bureaucracies do not understand budgets and their purpose. To most, a budget is a piece of paper that says this is what we will spend but you know we will exceed that. Why? Why are there so many politicians and fiduciary gluttons in government? Whatever happened to managing the affairs of state to the benefit of the people? The early Presidents of the US warned following citizens to pay off the government debt in the same year or in a reasonable time. It is a form of insanity to deny reality and truth. I think they call it dementia.

Fear, like pain, only tells you that something needs your attention. Look at it. Deal with it. The athlete knows certains pains grow strength; other pains require addressing. Fear is the same: some fear attunes your focus to accomplish the amazing. Some fear brings you to do what is right and safe within your abilities.

Do not let fear control you. Control fear.

FDR reminded us: there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

We can overcome fear and do amazing things. Go do amazing things today.

Random thoughts. It is an apt description. I have so many thoughts running around, colliding, in my head. The roar at times is like a stirred up hornets’ nest. But I manage and bounce from thought to thought, coming back to various ones then they are gone into the whirlwind vortex of flashing thoughts.
