My spirit is full. My spirit and mind are full of hurt from seeing a people lost and a Church of hate. These things ought not be so.
I see too many people going in and out of their days just making time, filling their days with whatever to fill their days. It is as if they have no clear vision as to why they are or where they are going. They go from one event to the next and try to do their best or what makes them happiest.
Life ought to be more than going and coming.
I see a Church that is not biblical. Jesus said they will know we are his disciples by our love for one another. I see a Church and Church leaders that are too quick to judge someone for what they are doing; rather than pray for them according to what Jesus taught we should do.
God is taught as distant, unapproachable. According to the Bible, God does not make Himself distant. We do.
God’s goodness reminds us of our sin – our acts of choice to be separate from Him.
Our God is not like other gods; a deity that tries to control or is powerless when confronted. Our God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Jesus, and the Bible, is YHWH Elohim … the Mighty One Who Is and is All Powers in One. If we cannot come near Him it is because we are lacking. It is not due to His disinterest in us.
The God of the Bible loved us so much He gave us Jesus.
Jesus is more than the preacher who was hung on a cross. Jesus was and is the salvation of God through the acts Jesus did.
In Lucifer was sin found. He made himself sin by his acts of pride and unrighteousness.
In Jesus was right standing with God found. He made himself sin at the cross that those sons of Adam and Adam might be made righteous – rightstanding – with God.
It is a legal term. Sin is separation, willful – by choice – separation. Separation on purpose.
Righteous or rightstanding is a legal term. It means there is no cause between two parties. There is no grievance. There is no hurt or harm, no malintent. There is harmony and peace.
Jesus was and is the God of the Bible made flesh to become sin for us that we might be righteous with Him. God took the reproach of sin away from us, having spent it all on Jesus, Himself, at the Cross.
Do not throw stones at those you do not understand. Do not accuse those who are unrighteous. They are God’s to persecute.
Do not speak evil of those sharing the Gospel. They are God’s to judge. And, He will judge them for what they have shared concerning God and His servants. Instead, pray for they that they might hear God. Also, consider Gameliel’s witness to the Sanhedren concerning Jesus: if it not of God it will come to nothing. God will judge.
Instead, seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness (Jesus). That is it.
Know the Bible for yourself; that no one may deceive you, that you walk with Him, that He teaches you all things, that He leads and guides you – sets your steps to order.
Pray for those whose lives are just living. They have no direction. They just do. They may even come to church; out of religious habit or sense of duty. Pray for them. Life is more than just moments to fill.
The Mighty one Who came to me as a child has ever pointed me to the Bible, the Judeo-Christian Bible in several translations, and said “This is My Word. These words are true.”
He has born this out to be true.
My simple testimony is this: God came to me, a sinner, and said I was His. In all that time since, He has shown Himself to be true, a healer of diseases, a forgiver of Sin, and a loving Parent to His children. He gave us Jesus (the Anointed Salvation of God) that we might have life (healing, health, and wholeness) and that more abundantly; and that we might be able to come to Him – no separation, no distance, approachable.
The goal in this life is not to live this life to the full; gain all the stuff we can; get all the gusto we can; get all the accolades we can.
The goal in this life is to learn how to walk with the God of the Judeo-Christian Bible, manage the things and assets He gives us, and end our days trusting HIm.
We can only do this through what Jesus did for us at the cross, the grave, and the resurrection and receiving that as our price paid to come boldly before Him.
…
If you do not yet know Jesus as you savior and Lord, I invite you now to ask him into your life. Pray this simple little prayer:
Jesus, come into my life, forgive me my sin, I accept the cross and the grave as my punishment that you took so I can come boldly before throne and live with you and the Father forever.
Father God, I ask you to come into my life and I accept what Jesus did at the cross for me. Be in my life, walk with me, and let me walk with you. Amen – so be it.
